We would rather hear a complaint than lose an investor quietly. Every grievance is recorded, acknowledged and tracked to closure, and the escalation route beyond our office is set out below so that you are never dependent on us alone.

Level 1 — Our office

• Acknowledgement of your complaint within 3 working days of receipt.
• Resolution or a substantive written response within 15 working days, and in any case within 30 days.
• If more time is genuinely required, we will tell you why and give you a revised date.

What to include in your complaint

• Your full name as registered, and your PAN or folio number.
• The scheme, policy or product concerned, and the transaction date if applicable.
• A clear description of what went wrong and what outcome you are seeking.
• Copies of any relevant statements, acknowledgements or correspondence.
• A phone number and email address at which you can be reached.

Please do not include passwords, OTPs, CVV or net-banking credentials in any complaint or email.

Level 2 — The product manufacturer

If your complaint concerns the scheme itself — unit allotment, NAV applied, redemption payout, statements or the registrar — it may need to be taken up with the Asset Management Company, whose investor relations officer is named in the scheme related documents and on the AMC website. We will help you file it and follow up with them on your behalf.

For insurance matters, the grievance officer of the insurer is named in your policy document, and unresolved complaints may be taken to the Insurance Ombudsman under the applicable rules.

Level 3 — Industry and regulatory escalation

You are free to approach any of these forums directly at any stage. Approaching us first simply tends to be faster for issues that we can fix ourselves.

How we handle your complaint internally

1. Recorded. Every complaint is entered in our register with a date and a reference.
2. Acknowledged. You receive confirmation within 3 working days, with the reference number.
3. Examined. We check our records and, where required, raise the matter with the AMC, registrar, bank or insurer.
4. Responded to. You receive a written response setting out our findings and the action taken.
5. Closed. The complaint is closed only after you confirm, or after the escalation route has been explained to you in writing.

What we cannot resolve

Some matters lie outside a distributor's control — the market performance of a scheme, an underwriting or claim decision taken by an insurer, or a delay caused by your bank. In those cases we will tell you plainly that it is outside our control, and help you take it to the right forum rather than leaving you to find it yourself.
